R1 offers qualification certificates for individuals and programs interested in increasing their knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in fundamental Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder, and Personal Growth topics. Through a combination of training, practicum, on-line learning, and knowledge testing, higher levels of certification can be achieved.

Our goal is to have the R1 Qualification Certificates be the leading standard in the industry, highly valued, and considered a core requirement for professionals and programs. Ensuring that professionals learn, understand, practice, and apply fundamental evidence-based and best practice models is our objective. The R1 Certification process includes:

Step 1: Participate in an R1 Seminar or Learning Lab.

Step 2: Practice using R1 tools in Groups and 1-on-1 settings. Document use on the R1 portal.

Step 3: Complete R1 on-line learning modules for each topic.

Step 4: Pass R1 Knowledge Tests.

Step 5: Congratulations - You are R1 Qualified! Increasing levels of R1 Certificates can be achieved over time.

4. Enterprise License (Annual)

R1 offers an enterprise license so that your organization can leverage the simple, yet powerful R1 Learning System content. The license will enable you to use and integrate our library of graphic models, definitions, activity worksheets, and facilitator guides into your existing curriculum. The license includes access and use of topic slide decks so that you can lead professional sessions immediately. The Activity worksheets can be customized and/or branded specifically for your program. Our expanded library of Activity Worksheets enables you to use the Discovery Cards in a variety of ways to get the full benefit of your investment.

5. Curriculum Consulting

Curriculum Assessment: R1 offers the capability to guide your team in designing and developing the best curriculum for your programs. Our team of experienced learning consultants will help you assess what you are currently doing and build a set of recommendations to take your program to the next level. We’ll assess the quality, consistency, and fidelity of your curriculum, how your learning objectives are linked to your treatment plans and patient outcomes, and how to structure and evaluate your curriculum to increase engagement, participation, learning, action, and results. You will receive an Executive Report that includes findings and recommendations to enable you to prioritize and plan for the changes you want to implement to improve your program.

6. Project Management

Each R1 project starts with an assessment and requirements definition process that identifies key stakeholders, success measures, evaluation criteria, tasks, deliverables, and schedule. All projects are assigned an R1 Project Manager responsible for all aspects of the project. The R1 Project Manager will work in conjunction with the client project lead to develop and implement the plan, coordinate meetings, assign and complete day-to-day tasks, and ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality and service standards.

7. Evaluation

Metrics matter. R1 Learning will work with your team to develop realistic, non-burdensome metrics to track and show results at every level - end user, counselor/ educator, and program. Depending on your goals, we’ll develop an approach to capture and report on data for areas to include, but not limited to: Engagement (client and counselor), Satisfaction, Learning Comprehension, Learning Retention, Program Retention, and Program Outcomes (recidivism, recovery capital factors, etc.). 8. Discovery Cards Branding Options – Build Your Brand

Use the Discovery Cards as a communication tool to build your organization's brand. Workbooks and worksheets typically get thrown away after a treatment or recovery program. The Discovery Cards are rarely thrown away. They are kept on desks or in prominent places at home and often reused with others.
